Catterall is looking for a quick return to winning ways after he was eliminated by Arnold Barboza JR in a separate loss of Split-Decision in February, which was hoping for his world title for the time being.
It was the American Barboza JR who eventually claimed the interim -vbo title in a final eliminator at 140 pounds and earned a shot at full champion Teofimo Lopez, who lost points in New York in May.
Catterall promised to respond quickly, but there was a lot of surprise when he moved to fight Euank, the cousin of Chris Eank Sr and cousin of Chris Eank Jr who is still undefeated on 21-0, but occurs a huge step on Saturday evening.
He was last in action in March in his hometown Brighton and put in the 10th round Tyrone McKenna in Northern Irland to claim the IBF-Inter-2-Interinental Welterweight title.

Catterall vs Euank prediction
It was a bit of a shock to see Catterall accept this fight after he had participated at a higher level in people like Josh Taylor, Jorge Linares, Regis Prograis and Arnold Barboza JR in recent years.
But ‘El Gato’ wants to quickly jump back with a statement victory to follow a disappointing loss, as he did against Darragh Foley after that first controversial match with Taylor.
The pressure is mentioned: Jack Catterall has to deliver a statement performance this weekend

Eank is certainly not a pushover and remains unbeaten, but never fought above the domestic level and this is an important step further than everything he has had to deal with before.
Catterall is without a knockout victory since 2019 and fast stop settlements are not really his style, but he will be under pressure to achieve the victory in a emphatic way.
We expect that he dominates from the start and probably scores a few knockdowns, but ultimately win comfortably on the cards.
Catterall to win through unanimous decision.
