Gaza City and Washington-de Israeli military intensified strikes in Gaza on Friday, even when President Trump indicated that talking about a potential cease-fire of 60 days between Israel and Hamas was close by.

“We will see what happens – we will know the next 24 hours,” he told reporters early on Friday morning and said it was up to Hamas to agree with the framework of the deal because Israel already had it. Israeli officials have not publicly said whether they have agreed or not.

In a statement that was released on Friday, Hamas said that the mediators gave a reaction that “can be characterized as positive on the proposal”, and emphasizes that it is ready to start negotiations in an attempt to implement a deal.

A high Hamas officer who was not authorized to speak publicly, NPR said that the group wants guarantees to permanently terminate the war – something that Israel has refused to do in earlier negotiations – in addition to a partial Israeli military withdrawal from the enclave of assistance in the Gazza -Distributor Nations.

Intensify Israeli strikes in Gaza

In the Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, Palestinians mourned the bodies of loved ones, including various children, who were killed in an Israeli strike at a nearby school protection that displaced on Thursday. NPR witnessed at least nine bodies in the mortuary, while dozens of injured people were treated in the hospital.

Othman Abdu, whose niece lost her three children in the attack, said he wanted to get a message to both parties trying to negotiate a ceasefiring -firing.

“Enough malicious politics,” he said. “Have mercy with us. Innocent people are killed.”

Hospitals in Gaza have been flooded with patients in recent days, because Israeli strikes have been intensified, even if conversations have had a possible cease -the Fire Deal have had a number of Palestinians carefully optimistic.

According to Gaza Health officials, at least 138 Palestinians were killed and more than 400 injured on Thursday and Friday. More than 60 of the killed and hundreds of wounded were waiting for help.
