The company that lets them say that it removes all artificial dyes from its products by 2027, in the midst of pressure from health secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr.
Conagra Brands, based in Chicago, said that Birds Eye Frozen Vegetables, Orville Reasonbacher Popcorn and Duncan Hines baking products will also be influenced by the change.
The dyes will probably be replaced by natural ingredients such as turmeric or beet juice, which can change the look, change and texture of many iconic food.
The announcement follows similar plans from brands such as Nestle, Kraft Heinz and General Mills, many of whom have said that they will not launch new products with artificial dyes.

Proponents of health care have long since called to remove artificial dyes from foods, in which studies are quoted that indicate that they can cause neurobehavioral problems, including hyperactivity and attention problems, in children.
The FDA has maintained that the approved dyes are safe and that “the totality of scientific evidence shows that most children have no adverse effects in consuming food with color additives.”

FDA commissioner Dr. Marty Makary announced in April that the agency will progress the use of eight artificial dyes in America in the food supply of America within the next two years.

It is unclear whether Conagra will reformulate the affected products or will stop them completely.
The company has also not announced any plans to change the recipes worldwide.
