Undisputed WWE champion John Cena is planned to defend his title against CM Punk tomorrow in the Night of Champions Premium Live event. A popular star, however, demanded a competition with the cenation leader at the current edition of Friday Night Smackdown.
In a backstage segment, multi-time WWE interrupted 24/7 champion R-Truth Aleister Black’s conversation with general managers Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce. The 53-year-old stated that he wanted to go against Cena. The raw GM tried to calm him down, but without effect.
On the other hand, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis noted that the 17-way WWE world champion in the Arena was to confront CM Punk prior to their upcoming match. However, the truth remained firm with his attitude and even teased John Cena while leaving the frame.
You can view the Backstage segment in the video below:
Instead of resuming his conversation with the general managers, Aleister Black R-Truth followed and indicated a possible confrontation with the latter. He was planned to struggle Kit Wilson on Smackdown last week before the truth attacked the pretty deadly member before the game. Black followed the truth to the ring and took it with the black mass and stated that the two stars were now the same.
John Cena and CM Punk will be face-to-face later during the show. It will be interesting to see if R-Truth comes forward again to go after his ‘youth hero’.
