NFL star Deommodore Lenoir arrested after tense exchange with police officers in Los Angeles

San Francisco 49ers -star Demmodore Lenoir was arrested in Los Angeles on Thursday after a tense exchange with the police.

Lenoir was taken into custody by the Los Angeles police after he had observed the traffic with double parked and blocking.

The police suspected criminal activities and noticed a gun in the car occupied by Lenoir and the man he was with, Marcus Cunningham, per TMZ.

During the interaction with the police, Cunningham Lenoir threw his car key. When the police asked the defensive back to transfer them, he refused.

After he had not handed over the keys, Lenoir was arrested for one count of resisting a peace officer.

Lenoir was released on Friday from detention and is planned to appear in court next month.
