The Las Vegas Raiders honor a former player from their days when they took the field in Los Angeles and Oakland, California.

The team issued a statement on Monday afternoon in which the death of the former attacking Lineman Rich Stephens announced at the age of 60.

Stephens, a former ninth round pick from the Cincinnati Bengals in 1989, played all 29 games of his short NFL career with the Raiders.

“The Raiders family mourns the death of Rich Stephens, who played with the silver and black in two seasons,” said the team’s statement.

‘Originally prepared by the Cincinnati Bengals from Tulsa in 1989, the attacking Lineman played in 29 career matches with two starts, all with the Raiders.

“The thoughts of the entire Raider Nation are currently with Rich’s family.”

According to football reference, Stephens played in 16 games in the 1993 season, starting once.

He then returned in the 1995 season and played in 13 games while he also started.

The resident of Missouri was 6-foot-7 and weighed 310 pounds.

Stephens and the Raiders made the play -offs in 1993 for the last time in Los Angeles -where the Denver Broncos was defeated in the Wild Card round before she lost to the Buffalo Bills in the division round.

1995, the last season of Stephens in the NFL, was the first season of the second Stint of the Raiders in Oakland. The team went 8-8 and missed the play-offs.

The Raiders would stay in Oakland from 1995 to 2020 when they moved to Las Vegas.
