Vigan, Ilocos Sur Creamline bends his muscles to start his PVL on Tour campaign with a 25-10, 25-21, 25-10 Sweep from Capital1 on Sunday in Chavit Coliseum here.
The Cool Smashers, led by old reliables Jema Galanza, Pangs Aya, Alyssa Valdez and Michele Gumabao, gave the new look sun places of the baptism of fire and handed Pilipinas coach Jorge Souza de Brito a loss PVL-COMEBACK.

“Of course we are happy because our campaign started well, especially because we didn’t have much time to prepare,” said Creamline coach Sherwin Meneses in Filipin.
“I think we will work more in our next games on improving our attack and defense.”
Galanza shone with 12 points and eight digs for the cool smashers. Gumabao had 11 points, while Panaga has nailed three blocks to end with 10 points.
Valdez broke in nine points, six digs and five excellent receptions, while Kyle Negrito 19 made excellent sets.
Sheena Toring, the 12th overall choice, also felt her presence with five points, including two aces in two sets played.

Creamline goes against Akari on Monday at 6.30 pm in Pool B to complete his Vigan tour.
After dominating the opening set with 15 points, Creamline was challenged by Shola Alvarez and Capital1 in the second set, where the solar spikers took a slender lead of 19-17.
But the Cool Smashers responded behind Valdez and Gumabao and took a 2-0 set advantage on a Toring Quick Attack and successful Block Touch Challenge of the Valdez hit.
It was all Creamline in the third set as Galanza’s three consecutive murders followed by Kyle Negrito’s Ace and Lorie Bernardo’s Block placed the cool smashers in front, 20-7, on the way to an exciting victory.
The Brito, who last coached in the PVL with Akari in 2023, dropped his first Pool B match and was missing the overall top Bella Belen because of its national team tasks and Leila Cruz.
Nobody scored double digits for the solar spikers with Rovie Instella who led the way with seven points. Alvarez and Jorelle Singh each had five.
Capital1 tries to bounce back at the opening day winner Cignal on Monday at 4 p.m.
