The United States are moving B-2-bombers to Pacific Island Guam, two American officials told Reuters on Saturday, while President Donald Trump weighs whether the United States should participate in the strikes of Israel against Iran.

It was unclear whether the bomber -deployment is connected to tensions in the middle east.

The B-2 can be equipped to wear America’s 30,000 pounds GBU-57 massive ordnance penetrator, designed to destroy goals deep underground. That is the weapon that, according to experts, could be used to meet Iran’s nuclear program, including Fordow.

The officials, who spoke about the condition of anonymity, refused to announce further details. One officer said that no forward orders had not yet been given to move the bombers past Guam. They did not say how many B-2 bombers are being moved.

The Pentagon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Experts and civil servants keep closely to see if the B-2 bombers will continue to an American British military base on the island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. Experts say that Diego Garcia is in an ideal position to work in the middle.

Until last month, the United States had B-2-bombers on Diego Garcia, when they were replaced by B-52 bombers.

Israel said on Saturday that it had killed a veteran Iranian commander during attacks by both parties in the more than a week of air war, while Tehan said it would not negotiate his nuclear program while it was threatened.

Israel says that Iran was about to develop nuclear weapons, while Iran says that the atomic program is only for peaceful purposes.

Trump said that he would take a maximum of two weeks to decide whether the United States should enter the conflict on the side of Israel, enough time “to see if or not people come to their senses,” he said.

Reuters was the first to report the movement from a large number of fuel aircraft to Europe and other military assets to the middle -east, including the deployment of more fighter jets.

An aircraft carrier in the Indo-Pacific also goes to the Middle East.
