Don Trollano admitted that he felt a sense of redemption after playing a major role in San Miguel -Beer that Dashed Meralco in the quarterfinals of the PBA Philippine Cup.
The 19 points of Trollano belonged to the reasons why the bouten De Bouten, 108-97, eliminated on Friday in the Ninoy Aquino Stadium, for their heartbreaking loss in the final of last year’s PBA All-Filipino Tournament.

Meralco defeated San Miguel for the title after Chris Newsome emptied the winning shot of the basic line for Trollano.
“I felt that it has pursued me so far,” said Trollano in Filipin. “But now I could help the team come back.”
San Miguel went on to the semi -final to continue his repayment tour after the disappointing absence of the play -offs of the Commissioner’s Cup.

The beans took the top seed after winning five of the last six, with Trollano the key in some of the games with timely shots.
A reason for the revival of Trollano, he said, was a shift in his role that the conference entered.

“I played the no. 4 position (power forward) Last conference,” said Trollano. “Now I play my natural position that is more comfortable for me.”
He scored 12 in the first half, in which San Miguel took a big lead, before Meralco threatened to return to the third by cutting the gorge to two.
But he and Rodney Brondial helped to restore order for the beans at both ends.
“My way of thinking was to be aggressive,” said Trollano. “That was our discussion with the rest of the second group, that we had to defend and follow the attack.”
