A man was taken to the hospital after a roles of the army vehicle near an important Australian military training field in Central Queensland.

Emergency services were called around 2.20 pm to the St Lawrence Road part of the Bruce Highway on Ogmore after a bushmaster truck had rolled.

The Queensland Ambulance Service said that a man with minor injuries on his leg was treated by paramedics and was brought to the Rockhampton Hospital in a stable state.

At 4.30 pm a spokesperson for the Queensland police said that the Bruce Highway remained open for motorists.

The incident happened just north of the Shoalwater Bay Military Training Area, located about 100 kilometers north of Rockhampton.
