Former Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeaama has chosen a path of football, in contrast to many of his fellow-Ex-Super Eagles teammates. While stars such as Kanu Nwankwo, Jay Jay Okocha, Victor Ikpeba and Joseph Yobo have included Rollen in the sport, Enyeaama is now more focused on business and family life.
Since playing in a ceremonial match for the French club Lille in April, Enyeaama has returned to Nigeria. He has been busy promoting his hospitality company, Vinpy Hotels, located in UYO, Akwa Ibom State. On social media, Enyeaama often shares cheerful videos that spend time with hotel staff and enjoying local meals prepared in the hotel.
Enyeaama became a favorite at Fan at Lille, where he came close to breaking the clean record of all time in the Top League of France during the 2013 season. He held 11 clean sheets in a row and went without a goal for more than 1,000 minutes. His strong versions helped Lille to reach the play -offs of the Champions League and earned him a special place in the history of the club.

He came to Lille in 2011, but had to wait for his chance, even on loan to Maccabi Tel Aviv. When he finally got his place in the starting team, he made a huge impact. Unfortunately, his time in the club ended badly after a disagreement with club officials. He was left out of the team during the 2017 season and finally left in 2018. He briefly trained at Dijon in 2019 but officially retired in 2020.
Enyeaama is often described as one of the best keepers in Africa. He won the CAF Champions League with Enyimba twice and was Captain when Nigeria won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2013. He earned 101 caps for Nigeria and was the most covered player in the country until Ahmed Musa passed him in 2021.
Now 42 years old, Enyeaama seems to enjoy his new life. His son also trains as a keeper, and Enyeaama has been seen that he taught the skills that made him a legend in African football.
