A hair tension almost lacked a fight between the Chicago Sky and the Connecticut Sun when Sky Center Angel Reese responded to the unprecedented movement on the basketball court, but she still made it a history of history.
In the Sunday afternoon match, during the third quarter of the game, Sun Guard Bria Hartley took the ponytail of Reese while the second -year player of heaven went up for a rebound. Reese responded immediately and confronted the guard. When he did this, the teammate of Hartley, Olivia Nelson-Ododa, tried to intervene and Reese pushed her down, which led to tension between the two players.
The referee and other players on the field jumped in to break a potential fight between the two teams. Although Suns Forward Tina Charles tried to rush Reese during the skirmish, the fight did not escalate. Reese and Charles were assessed on technical errors because of their actions, and Hartley, who started the incident, escaped with only a regular error in the play.
