Snapchat has introduced a series of new tools, functions and performance insights that are aimed at enabling his community of makers and users to produce, share and analyze content more easily. The updates are designed to help makers connect deeper with their target groups and to retain a lasting presence on the platform.

One of the striking additions is the new “Create A Video” semplate for memories. Now available worldwide on iOS, with this function, users can select stored snaps, choose music from the Snapchat’s Sounds library, apply a favorite template and generate a lens-driven video compilation in just a few ticks.

As the involvement continues to grow – with more than 1 billion snaps shared every month – Snapchat offers new analyzes to help makers to understand and demonstrate their impact. These include:

  • Returning viewers: Tracks how many people have viewed the public content of a maker for at least 12 days in the past month and emphasize the loyalty of the public.

  • Top content: Highlights the most viewed spotlight messages and public stories of the maker in the past 28 days.

  • Total reflection: Aggregate the viewing of time in the spotlight, public stories and profile stories.

  • Views on traffic sources: Breaks out where view comes from, including discovering, searching, chat and more.

  • Spotlight average display time and viewing speed: Offers insight into how long and how often users complete Spotlight videos.

Another important feature that will be rolled out soon, his auto-save stories for public profiles, with which makers can automatically retain the public stories on their profile. This gives followers the opportunity to visit content again, even after the standard decline of 24 hours, so that makers help build a more permanent showcase of their work.

Moreover, Snapchat is planning to launch a timeline editor for American makers. This new interface for video editing offers a chronological layout to make the cutting and organizing clips more intuitive. Once arranged, makers can add lenses, music and other creative tools to make dynamic stories and spotlight videos directly in the app.

Snapchat says that these updates are part of the continuous dedication to support makers and to help them grow a meaningful audience through authentic and fascinating content.
