What it does
Ellipsis Health Uses vocal biomarkers to identify mental disorders such as anxiety and depression.
According to the company, Sage wants to “expand the capacity of the provider, streamline workflows and increase the involvement of patients.”
Sage uses the Ellipsis empathy -based on patented vocal biomarker technology and trained on millions of live clinical patient calls.
In a statement, Ellipsis said that Sage is “emotionally intelligent and adapted his tone and approach based on the emotional condition of a patient and the needs of mental health care, which ensures high levels of involvement and behavioral change.”
The company will use the funds to speed up the adoption of Sage at organizations for care providers, payers and healthcare management. The company also wants to expand its AI options and improve clinical integrations.
