Smriti Irani – a prominent face of the ruling Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) and former Minister of Union – revealed in a recent interaction that she once worked in an outlet of McDonald where she mopped floors and did the dishes.
During the Times Now Summit 2025, Irani shared that she received RS 1,800 a month for that job.
“I went to the first McDonald’s that were open and I wiped floors there and was the dishes for RS 1,800 a month,” she said, adding the stint came after he was a finalist at the Miss India Pageant.
